I am a direct descendant of Joseph Turvey and Deborah Marie Dart who were married in Adelaide, Sth Australia in 1853. I believe Joseph sailed from England on the ship Osceola and arrived in Adelaide in 1851. Joseph was born in Burgate Suffolk England in 1828 , his parents Robert and Mary Ann Turvey(nee Turner) Robert died when Joseph was 9 years old.
Joseph & Deborah had 7 children. Elizabeth married William Makin, Robert married Margaret Brady,Thomas married Margaret Warren, William Joseph Turvey married Charlotte Abbott, George married Ann Stevenson( 1) & Elizabeth Coyle(2), Josephine married Francis Staude and Barbara married Alfred Abbott.
Joseph drowned in Lake Albert in 1866 and Deborah married Tom Pursey in 1870 and they had 5 children

The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list.
